The Ghana Football Association have financially fortified New Edubiase United for their CAF Confederations Cup tie against Diables Noirs.
The Bekwai-based side are making their debut in Africa as they prepare to host the Congolese at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Edubiase have shifted the game to Accra to cut cost due to their financial status.
The GFA have boosted their campaign with a $20,000 cash support.
“The GFA have surprised us with US$20,000 and we are very grateful for their kindness,” club President Abdul Salam Yakubu told Accra-based Happy FM.
Anthony Commey’s side are hoping to impress on their debut outing in continental competition.
