Ebusua Dwarfs thrash Berekum Chelsea to go second

Ebusua Dwarfs made a huge impact on their return to the Cape Coast Stadium by clobbering Berekum Chelsea 4-1 on Sunday.

John Arthur drilled a powerful low drive home to send the home support into wide jubilation in the 25th minute but Bismark Idan cancelled the lead for the Blues.

Francis Atuquaye restored the lead for Dwarfs with four minutes left for half-time.

Wherever Dwarfs motivation came from was not the question but the questions were how they disintegrated a solid Chelsea side after the break.

Francis Atuquaye registered his brace with a sensational finish in the 58th minute.

Chelsea's dependence on Solomon Asante to bring along a moment of magic gradually faded as the Mysterious club eclipsed them in all departments.

Kwame Frimpong laid a cross defence-splitting pass for returnee Asiwone Fumador to nail the win for Dwarfs.

The win has moved Dwarfs to second place with 13 points.
