Ebusua Dwarfs captain Stephen Aidoo has called on the fans to rally behind the team as they fight for survival in the Ghanaian top-flight.

Dwarfs are rocked-bottom after enduring a difficult campaign in the First Capital Plus Premier League this term.

The Cape Coast-based side are now faced with a stark reality of fighting to save their top-flight status with 10 games to end the season.

The club bundled out of the CAF Confederation Cup match after losing 4-0 at Angolan side Petro Athletico and will therefore put their energies on fighting for survival.

Captain Stephen Aidoo wants the fans to support the team in these difficult times.

“We are in a very difficult situation but the fans must not lose hope,” he said

“Our aim is to ensure we fight our relegation status. We want to remain in the League and that’s where the focus should be.

“I will urge the fans not go give up. They must rally behind us. I am pleading with them. We’ll get out of this difficult situation. I can promise them that.”

The Mysterious side have two games in hand.
