The Ghana Federation has reduced the 12-match home ban imposed on Ebusua Dwarfs to six, reports in the local media has claimed on Monday.

The Cape Coast-based side were hit with the heavy ban for failing to control their fans during their Premier League home defeat to Aduana Stars.

The irate supporters subjected referee Patrick Kyeremanteng and his two assistants to severe beating after disallowing what seemed a perfect equalizer.

The FA came down heavy on Dwarfs by ordering for the immediate closure of the Robert Mensah stadium pending an investigation into the incident.

But following series of pleas from the club owners, the Ghana Federation has reportedly halved the ban and the fine of 20,000 Ghana Cedis.

Dwarfs have struggled to in the top-flight since they were hit with the home ban and their 2-1 defeat against Mighty Jets over the weekend has defined their season.
