Ebenezer Assifuah scored for FC Sion

Ghana's Ebenezer Assifuah scored the lone goal to give FC Sion an astonishing 1-0 win over Luzern  at their favourite Swissporarena on Saturday evening.

The 20-year-old found the back of the net two minutes into the second-half to deliver victory to the under-performing giants.

The goal occurred as a result of defensive howler by Croatian defender Tomislav Pulji and Assifuah took advantage to claim the match-winner.

After scoring the goal, Assifuah was replaced in the 57th minute by Ivorian Xavier Kouassi while winger Ishmael Yartey came off the bench in the 78th minute to help Sion protect their lead.

The 2013 Ghana U20 World Cup star has taken his season's tally to 4 goals in 9 games for Sion.
