A five-man interim committee has been elected to steer the affairs of the Eastern Regional FA.
Abubakar Braimah was confirmed as the interim chairman of the committee after polling 57 points at an election held at Koforidua on Thursday.
Martin Owusu Asare, Abdul Aziz Mohammed and Lindford Asamoah and J.K Boateng will serve as members.
The running of the football in the Eastern region has been stalled following a long-standing legal tussle between A.A Lawal and rival Nana Budu.
The Ghana Federation dissolved the regional executive for new members to be drafted to constitute an interim body.
The newly appointed body will run the day-to-day business of the game in the region until a substantive body is put in place.
