Dwarfs failed to win against Berekum Arsenal
Ebusua Dwarfs threw away a to draw 1-1 with Berekum Arsenal in the Ghana Premier lo Premier League opener at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium on Sunday.
Bright Lukman converted from the spot four minutes after the break to put Dwarfs ahead but Edmund Owusu-Peprah scored an 89th minute penalty to snatch a point for Arsenal.
John Afrifa fouled an Ebusua Dwarfs attacker inside the box resulting in a spot-kick.
Lukman stepped up and blasted the ball beyond Henry Yartey for the opener.
Dwarfs appeared comfortable with the lead and were heading to for their first win of the season when Stephen Aidoo handled the ball.
Peprah shot home for Arsenal.
