Ebusua Dwarfs failed to beat New Edubiase at home
Ebusua Dwarfs were held to a 0-0 draw by New Edubiase United in the Ghana top-flight on Saturday at the Len Clay.
Both sides had decent opportunities to score but failed to make use of the chances that came their way.
The match had a topsy-turvy beginning and it was Edubiase who threatened Dwarfs’ goal area but Iddrisu Yahaya spurned an early opening.
Dwarfs striker Bright Lukman could also not hit his effort past goalkeeper Eric Nii Baah minutes later.
The Nigeria import lobbed a free-kick which went just an inch from goal.
Dwarfs have finished serving their 12-match home ban imposed on them by the Ghana Football Association last season.
The result leaves Edubiase at the foot of the table.
