Ebusua Dwarfs midfielder Kwame Frimpong is thrilled with his side's impressive run in the Ghanaian Premier League.

The Mysterious club are in second place in the Ghanaian Premier League with 17 points, just a point behind leaders Aduana Stars and Frimpong believes his side have clicked into gear.

They have hit a four match winning streak and have dropped just two points a possible 15.

Ahead of the weekend's top-liner against Asante Kotoko at the Robert Mensah Stadium in Cape Coast, the former Ghana U17 captain is optimistic about their chances.

"We have been performing creditably and we are all content with our form. We just need to keep up and beat Kotoko on Sunday," he told Ghanasoccernet.com.

Frimpong has featured in all nine games for Dwarfs and has scored once.

The former Rayo Vallecano midfielder believes he would gradually breakthrough the local Black Stars squad.

"I was looking up to it but the call-up never came so I must keep up and work harder and see what will come next," he added.
