Dwarfs could appeal home-match ban

Posted On Saturday, 18th August 2012

Dwarfs

Ebusua Dwarfs are likely to appeal against the GFA’s Disciplinary Committee’s decision to roll forward their home-match ban from last season.

Dwarfs had their 12-match home ban slashed to eight by the Appeals Committee after appealing against the DC’s ruling in May.

Dwarfs are supposed to honour their opening three home games of the season home-away-from-home.

MTNFootball.com understands the club’s hierarchy are preparing to launch a final appeal to test the FA’s resolve to hold down their ban.

Dwarfs were banned after fans of the club brutally assaulted referee Patrick Kyeremateng and his assistants after the end of a league match at home against Aduana Stars at the Robert Mensah Stadium.

The Ghana Football Association subsequently ordered the closure of the venue after the incident.
