Patrick Kluivert has included Edwin Gyasi, the Dutch-born Ghanaian winger, in his plans in the Dutch U23 side
Dutch U23 manager Patrick Kluivert has told Dutch-born Ghanaian winger Edwin Gyasi he has included him in his plans for upcoming competition.
The FC Twente star, 21, was born to Ghanaian parents in Holland and has made his mark as a massive youth talent playing for AZ Alkmaar and De Graafschap.
Former England boss Steve McClaren was an admirer of Gyasi at the De Grolsch Veste as he scored once in 15 appearances for Twente.
Kluivert who made his mark as a renowned goal poacher has been monitoring the exploits of the youngster and has included him in his plans after being handed the Dutch U23 job.
However, Gyasi is interested in representing Ghana at senior level.
The FA monitoring team should look sharp.
This boy shd play for Holland not Ghana otherwise the GFA will destroy his career. Be wise boy.
Akwasi Appiah wouldn’t know how to use him. That’s why the fans are crying for a new coach.
We have so many talented young men all the world, we need an experienced coach to assemble them into a strong unit. Abedi/Desailly combo.
