Matthew Amoah
Dutch side NAC Breda are not interested in re-signing Ghana striker Matthew Amoah.
Amoah has had a frustrating spell at fellow Eredivisie side Heerenveen, a club he joined on a one-year deal deal this summer.
He where he has managed only one appearance- in the Dutch Cup-after battling injuries before the start of the season.
Heerenveen coach Marco Van Basten has told Amoah he can leave the club if he wants to.
The 32-year-old’s career has been on the slide after an ill-fated move to Turkish side Mersin Idmanyurdu.
Amoah played for NAC Breda between 2007 and 2011 where he scored 43 goals in 105 matches.
“Too bad, because Matthew would like to return to NAC. He had good years playing for them,” Amoah’s agent Kees Ploegsma Jr said.
The Ghana international striker has previously played for Fortuna Sittard, Vitesse Arnhem and Borussia Dortmund.
