Two Dutch-born Ghanaians are set to be named in the Ajax Amsterdam first team squad for the upcoming season as they have been named in the Dutch giants’ team to face Spanish side Real Sociedad in a pre-season friendly.

Ajax manager Frank de Boer has promoted young defender Kenny Tete (18) into his first team ranks alongside right-back Leroy Owusu (17).

The Eredivisie champions have begun preparations in earnest for the upcoming season as they are billed for both domestic and European challenges.

The youngsters, both members of the Ajax reserves squad last season, have been given a chance to impress their manager for first team shots.

However, the duo will have to compete for one slot as they are all right-backs.

While Tete starts the game against Sociedad, Owusu is likely to come off the bench as a second-half replacement.

Line-up Ajax – Achilles’29: Alblas; Tete, Moisander, Riedewald, Boilesen; Bazoer, Andersen, Serero; De Sa, Zivkovic, Sigthórsson

Subs: Mous, Owusu, Boccara, Van Bruggen, Van Koesveld, Vissie, El Ghazi, Bakker, Menig, Warmerdam, Becker, Sana.

Tete and Owusu, guys don’t be fooled into playing for Ghana. You are Dutch and not Ghanaians. They will lure you into the black stars and accuse of being indiscipline if you stand up against their corrupt ways.A word to the wise ……..

@Benny.You are right.Nyantakyie and his cohorts are only interested in how money will go into their pockets.I will start writing to such players, not to listen to those crooks.

What if Nyantakyi leaves the post after these players have played for Holland at the senior level and things turn out better?
