Ghanaian starlet Raymond Gyasi has returned to training for Dutch side AZ Alkmaar after recovering from an ankle injury.

The 19-year-old has been in the treatment room since late October after twisting his ankle at training but is now back at training.

"I've resumed training after some weeks out with injury. I hope to gain match fitness soon," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

Gyasi was widely tipped by technical wigs at Alkmaar to excel this season after picking up double youth awards at the club but he has failed to make a single first team appearance so far.

However with the season still young, he could still work his way into the first team squad at the club.
