Duncan unfazed by Kotoko assignment

Posted On Friday, 16th November 2012

David Duncan does not fear to play Kotoko as his first match

New Hearts of Oak coach David Duncan says he is ready for Sunday’s Ghana Premier League derby against Kotoko.

The former Ghana U23 coach was installed on Tuesday and has very little time to work on his players for the biggest league clash.

Duncan has confirmed he will be on the bench at the Baba Yara Stadium and pundits believe  faces one of his difficult tasks.

But the former AshantiGold coach is positive he can raise a team to put up a good display.

“The opposition is the same, having handled clubs like Olympics, Hasaacas and AshGold against the same side over the years,” Duncan said.

“The only difference is I am now working with entire new personnel which I hope to settle with soon.”

Hearts have lost one of their last three league matches and lie 12th on the log sheet.

  1. Fresher says:

David Duncan will surely be chased out of Hearts of Oaks in a disgraceful and disgusting manner like the way his predecessors like Eyal Lachman, Costa Papic, Mirko Dobrev, Yusif Yakubu, Tanko Shaibu, CK AKKUNOR, etc. David Duncan does not even match the category of an average coach let alone deserve to coach the 9th best club in Ghana. Well, may be Hearts of Oaks are DESPERATE to have the UNPLEASANT experience of how bitter the taste of relegation attrition is that is why they have hired the services of arrogant craptacular David Duncan at the expense of able CK AKKUNOR.

  2. Maxwell Johnson says:

This Fresher dude is really sick in the HEAD!! How can you compare CK Akkunor to Duncan. What track record does he have compared to the achievement and experience of Duncan. Take it or leave it Duncan is one of the finest coaches in GH and he’ll surely succeed @ H.O.O, mind your own business.
