Asante Kotokoââ¬â¢s African Cup Committee chairman Alhaji Abu Lamine has hailed the impact made by new coach David Duncan even before he officially takes over.
The 51-year-old is expected to sign a two-year contract on Wednesday and will be unveiled as Kotokoââ¬â¢s new head coach a day after.
Duncan joined the team for their CAF Champions League game away to MC El Eulma as an ââ¬Ëobserverââ¬â¢ where the Ghanaian giants secured a goalless draw in Algeria.
Kotokoââ¬â¢s African Cup committee chief is however already seeing the immense impact being made by the former Hearts of Oak trainer even before he officially joins the club.
ââ¬ÅWe have seen the initial effect of news of his appointment,â⬠Alhaji Lamine told Angel FM.
ââ¬ÅThe mentality of the players have changed and we are very confident that coach Duncan will be a hit at Kotoko.ââ¬
Duncan will be returning to active coaching since he was sacked by Hearts of Oak in November 2013.
