Livorno sporting director Elio Signorelli was full of praise for their young Ghanaian star and Inter-owned Alfred Duncan.

The 20-year-old, who is currently on-loan to the Amaranti for the season, put in another impressive display on the weekend as Livorno pulled off a surprise 2-1 victory in Sardinia.

“He is a fantastic player and he proved that yesterday. A young player who will make both Inter and Livorno happy,” he told Tuttowebmercato.

Duncan is a highly rated midfielder who has been capped at Under-20 level and first team national level with the Black Stars.

He made his full international debut on 14 November 2012 against Cape Verde.
