Spain-based goalkeeper Razak Brimah says he has a bright international future despite being overlooked for Ghana’s World Cup playoff first leg against Egypt.
The CD Guadalajara first choice goalkeeper was on the bench when Ghana defeated Zambia 2-1 in Kumasi last month in the final Group D qualifier.
It is feared conceding three goals in the 3-1 international friendly defeat to Japan last month could be his graveyard.
But the 26-year-old is remaining positive he can bounce back.
“That is football and I’m ok the most important thing is to support the players who got the call up to beat Egypt so we can look forward to the World Cup,” Brimah told Accra-based Joy FM.
“For me I just have to continue working hard and I’m 100 percent sure that one day I will be the Black Stars number one goalkeeper.
“Not earning a call up will not put me down but rather will edge me on to work hard so I will be look at again in the next call up.”
