Ghana winger Solomon Asante is determined to regain his place in the Black Stars team after he was snubbed for the crucial 2014 World Cup playoff against Egypt.
The TP Mazembe star was not included in Ghana’s provisional 25-man squad for the crunch game on October 15 in Kumasi.
Asante has been part of the Black Stars team for close to a year now.
The former Berekum Chelsea player however failed to make the cut this time around for the match against the record African Cup winners.
The 22-year-old in wishing the Black Stars well in the upcoming game against Egypt says he will fight hard at club level to regain his spot in the team for future assignments.
“First of all, I respect the choice of the coach and wish my country the best of luck against Egypt,” he said.
“I work with the TPM [TP Mazembe] to be the best and that is how I can get back in the national team.”
