Draman rues missed chances as Kotoko draw with Hearts

Mas-ud Didi Draman was left rueing his side’s chances after Kotoko were held at home by Hearts in the biggest match of the season on Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors failed to break down a resolute Hearts defense as the two giants shared the spoils in a goalless draw game at the Baba Yara stadium.

The capital-based side were impressive in the first half but lacked the cutting edge upfront as Kotoko took control in the second half.

The draw leaves the defending champions sixth on the table while Hearts have moved up to 10th on the table.

“We created many chances but we failed to score. We should have at least scored a goal but it happens in football,” Draman said

“But I guess it was expected because there is always tension in Kotoko-Hearts of Oak games.

“We started and finished well but I’m just disappointed that we failed to make the dominance count.”
