Dossena, Pluijm linked with AshGold job

AshGold eyeing a move for Giuseppe Dossena

Reports are linking former Ghana coach Giuseppe Dossena and Berekum Chelsea technical director Hans van der Pluijm to the vacant AshGold coaching post.

The Miners have entered the market in search of a permanent trainer as Kofi Amoako is acting in a caretaker role after the sacking of Yaw Acheampong in December.

Dossena, who guided Ghana to success in African Youth Championship in 2009, is jobless after leaving Ethiopian side Saint George SA.

AshGold officials are convinced about the qualities of the 54-year-old who has handled Albania and also acted as assistant coach to Paraguay.

Dutch trainer van der Pluijm is not happy with his role at Chelsea as technical director and wants to get more involved in the game.

AshGold are hoping to lure the former Heart of Lions coach if their pursuit of Dossena falls through.

Ghana will win only two matches. You guys should pray and hope those friendly games are not counted as the two. I saw Ghana win their first two games. Ungrateful people.

@Kwame wonderfoolish i trust your name is, but you changed it. Why do you have to expose your stupidity on such a loud platform? What makes us all happy as our black stars are getting better is instead making bitter. Please, come again! Moreso, it is an Ashgold issue on coach recruiting rumors being discussed. At least be a vertebra awhile.
