Ghana winger Bernard Dong-Bortey says he will play for Hearts of Oak again before retiring from football.

The 31-year-old’s current status as a player is readily unclear.

Dong-Bortey rose to prominence while during his nine-year spell with the Phobians which ended in 2010.

He last played for Aduana Stars in their Ghanaian top flight.

The ex Ghana youth star now says he would like to play for Hearts again before finally hanging his boots.

“No fears at all, I will play for Hearts before I retire from football,” he told Hearts Radio on Metro FM.

Bortey is regarded by many as a talented player who didn’t live up to his huge potential.

He played for Ghana 27 times and scored nine goals.
