Acting Division One League Board Chairman Evans Amenumeh says all is set for a  'smooth' takeoff of this year’s promotional play-offs.

The opener will be on Friday afternoon at the Accra Sports Stadium where Dunkwa United FC host Babiani Gold Stars.

“We have finished with all arrangements for the smooth take-off of the promotional play-offs as far as Zones 2 and 3 are concerned,” he told Bohye FM in Kumasi.

“We hope to finalize hearings of disciplinary issues that have engulfed Zone 1B by today or Friday to determine who qualifies to partake in the play-offs.”

Amenumeh also confirmed break-down talks with giants Supersport for live Television broadcast.

“We haven’t finalized talks with Supersport as far as live coverage is concerned. I am unable to confirm that it would be possible. However, GFA Cameras would be deployed to all the centres to supervise,” he added.

“Security arrangements are far advanced to ensure that sanity prevails at all the selected centres.

“There was a meeting with the National Security Co-ordinator at the Accra Sports Stadium yesterday to this effect so there is no problem regarding security concerns.”
