Diables Noirs players before their departure to Accra to face New Edubiase
Diables Noirs will be without several key players for Sunday’s CAF Confederation Cup match against New Edubiase United in Accra.
The Congolese side made the trip to Ghana without injured Ivorian Fabrice Kouadio and his compatriot goalkeeper Tahouri.
Mavis Tchibota is also unavailable due to a trial in Saudi Arabia.
Youngsters Hardy and Binguila Charlevy Mabiala are in Italy with the Congo Under-17 team.
But head coach Clément Massamba can rely on strikers Marcellin Tamboulas, Losseni Kumara, Lorry Nkolo even if they are not in fully physically fit to cause havoc from his 20-man squad.
Diables Noirs are playing a Ghanaian side in the CAF Confederation Cup eliminators for the first time since 2006 when they were kicked by Berekum Arsenal.
They won the first leg 2-1 in Brazzaville but suffered a 2-0 defeat at the Accra Sports Stadium.
