FIFA Player's Agent Oliver Arthur expects new Ghana coach Avram Grant to develop a ''International standard Selection Criteria '' for the Black Stars before the 2015 Nations Cup call-ups.

Speaking in an interview, the acclaimed Ghana transfer market leader said, ''Grant worked at the highest level of world football so there is no doubt his selection of players will be guided by a justifiable Selection Criteria.''

Calling for the Selection Criteria guideline to be used immediately, Arthur who is credited with +30 player transfers in 8 years insisted, ''unlike the past, Grant will invite the best 23 available for Ghana. Period!  It won't matter where you play or who manages you under him ''

''In Africa connections matter more than qualifications so we need a Selection Criteria to ensure transparency and avoid public distrust. I expect the Selection Criteria guideline to be the first legacy Grant will leave for Ghana football.''

He congratulated the regulator for the right choice, 'Kwesi Nyantakyi and the Football Association deserve commendation for the [Avram] Grant decision. He is the right man for the job at this time.''

The agent who also manages 14 youngsters across leagues in Europe and the likes of Afriyie Acquah, Richmond Boakye-Yiadom, Godfred Donsah and Augustine Okrah, appealed to the GFA to take the Selection Criteria debate seriously, insisting it will help curb controversies.
