Asante Kotoko coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has confirmed defender Rashid Sumaila has joined his side for Sunday's crucial CAF Champions League clash with Sony Nguema.

Sumaila, 20, penned a five-year contract with South African Premier Soccer League side Mamelodi Sundowns earlier this week and will join them at the end of the season.

Kotoko want to announce their return to African football after four seasons absence in grand style and Didi Dramani, the former Black Maidens coach must parade all his arsenals for the game.

"He (Rashid) joined the team on Thursday. He was here and went for the medicals and he is now back with us," he told Accra-based Happy FM.

The former Ebusua Dwarfs center-back was named in Ghana's provisional 2013 AFCON squad.
