Full-back Christopher Bonney and his representative are set to hold talks with Kotoko after arriving in Kumasi, Ghanasoccernet.com understands.

The 22-year-old travelled to the Ashanti Regional capital during the weekend together with Uni Star Academy President Kuffour Yamoah and are billed to hold official talks with Kotoko officials on Monday.

Bonney, spent last season as a loanee with Dwarfs and impressed many local clubs including Berekum Chelsea and Medeama.

AshGold tabled an official bid to sign him but the Ghana CHAN squad member has decided to join Kotoko.

Kotoko are expected to make him their first signing of the season if the two parties are able to reach a deal by Monday evening in Kumasi.

Chelsea and Medeama are also following with keen interest and would jump at any opportunity to land the exciting youngster if Kotoko failed to agree a fee for him.
