Zesco United defender Bernard Mapili is confident the side can overturn a 2-0 first-leg deficit to Medeama in the CAF Confederation Cup return leg this weekend.
Goals from Nathaniel Asamoah and Michael Helegbe gave Carlos Roberto Paulleteââ¬â¢s side the advantage ahead of Sundayââ¬â¢s second-leg at the Levy Mwanawasa stadium in Ndola.
However, Mapili is confident they can turn the tie around.
ââ¬ÅWe started the game on a high note even the first goal from Medeama did not stop us but a number of factors disturbed our game and hence slowly our temple changed,â⬠he said.
ââ¬ÅWe have to go into the return encounter believing we can progress further in this competition.
ââ¬ÅI am confident we can turn the scale around and qualify to the next stage.ââ¬
Meanwhile Medeama arrived in Ndola on Thursday morning ahead of Sundayââ¬â¢s showdown.
