Defender Awudu Nafiu is on the verge of exiting former Ghanaian champions Berekum Chelsea.

The centre-back was linked with New Edubiase United but it looks like he will be heading to Amidaus Professionals.

"We are still talking with him. He will sign sooner than later," Amidaus Operations Manager Sheriff Sulley told GHANASoccernet.com.

Nafiu joined the Berekum-based club in January 2012 after an unsuccessful spell at Tanzanian outfit Azam FC following his move from King Faisal FC in 2011.

He would be the next big name exit from Berekum Chelsea following Jordan Opoku's move to Asante Kotoko.
