With numerous high-profile calls on Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah to call-up Bechem United’s playmaker Augustine Okrah, we have been researching the talent.

With 9 goals and 9 assists in the First Capital Plus Premier League and FA Cup and a consistent string of scintillating displays in matches, many have argued the 20-year old former Asante Kotoko man is the best locally-based player right now in the country.

He has noticeably been the most consistent performer for Bechem United this season and in more than half of the club’s matches, he appeared man-of-the-match.

  1. KWAME SABAATO says:

This is what we’ve being missing in the Ghana Premier league. The real Ghanaian talent. I believe Kwasi Appiah can call him for the training camp to help boost his confidence for the future. Not necessary being part of this WC in Brazil.

  2. Nii says:

This guy needs exposure…..he is very talented.

    • POW says:

      NOT YET THERE

He’s a budding star but he’s got a lot to work on. I hope he stays in the local league for at least one more year after this season s over to improve on his ball control and passes. He should also lift weight to build more strength and stability
