Incoming Asante Kotoko David Duncan says stop-gap coach Michael Osei deserves the credit for the club’s impressive 0-0 draw at MC El Eulma in the CAF Champions League first qualifying round first leg tie.

Duncan, who has agreed in principle to coach the Porcupine Warriors on a two-year contract, was at the Stade Messaoud Zougar on the bench.

He joined the team for the trip and says Osei has to be praised for hatching the game plan which ensured the kept a clean sheet.

“Michael Osei is responsible for the result today and deserves the credit,” Duncan told Asempa FM in a post-match interview.

Osei was told to take interim charge of the team after Mas-Ud Dramani was sacked.

He took charge of three league matches ( WAFA, Berekum Chelsea and Medeama) and drew all.
