David Duncan hails ‘tremendous’ Mahatma Otoo winner for Hearts

Mahatma Otoo's performance has been hailed by his coach

David Duncan has hailed Mahatma Otoo following Hearts 1-0 win over BA Stars in the Ghana MTN FA Cup describing the striker as ‘a fantastic footballer’.

Otoo, 22, scored a trademark free-kick deep into stoppage time to hand the capital-based side the precious win at home.

The performance of the former Sporting Mirren attacker left Duncan gushing with praise as he reflected upon his display.

“Mahatma Otoo is simply a fantastic player. Great player with amazing attitude on the pitch,” Duncan said

“He has scored many times in such situation and he’s incredible.

“He scored a similar goal at Berekum Arsenals and so when we had the free- kick, I told some of my backroom members that he was going to score.

“He’s the player who would make a difference to any team. Such an amazing character.”

Otoo has raked in 8 goals in the Ghana Premier League.
