Ghana striker David Accam will remain at Swedish side Helsingborg at least until January after the transfer window was shut Monday night.

The 23-year-old had been linked with a move away from The Reds following breathtaking performances for the side.

The youngster had attracted interest from at least FIVE Europeans clubs with French Lique 1 duo RC Lens and Stade de Reims as well as Belgian giants Club Brugge all interested in his signature.

But he has decided to see stay with Helsingborg at least until January.

“Some countries are open, but I feel it is not as hot at the moment, sports director Jesper Jansson said

“I think he will leave at some point. The past few days have been quiet. It’s good he’s staying with us for now.”

The Right to Dream product has been included in Ghana’s squad to face Uganda and Togo in the qualifiers for the 2015 African Cup of Nations.
