Ghana striker David Accam says he will decide his future after Christmas denying he’s signed for American Major League Soccer side Chicago Fire.

The 24-year-old is rumoured to have signed for the American top-flight with his Swedish side Helsingborg confirming a deal has been reached.

But the former Right to Dream Academy product will travel to the United States this week, which will fuel speculations about the potential move.

But the Ghanaia international insists his impending trip to the States has got nothing to do with his future.

The reports that I'm going to the United States are false. I will leave for the United States but not to sign for any team in MLS,” he said

“I will sign for a club but won’t review until after Christmas.”

Accam notched 23 goals in all competition in the Swedish Allsvenskan with Helsingborg.
