Ghana attacker David Accam says he 'felt great' on making his Major League Soccer debut for Chicago Fire and insists he feels fully fit to play again.

The 23-year-old came off the bench as a second-half substitute, replacing Trinidad and Tobago international Joevin Jones on the 46th minute mark at the Avaya Stadium in San Jose as Fire slipped to a 2-1 loss against San Jose.

"It felt great to be on the pitch playing again after recovering," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

Fire are yet to pick a point from their opening three games of the season and though the former Helsingborg IF star is happy to have made his debut in the league but he is not too happy with their form.

"Even though the results didn't go our way, I was happy with my performance," he added.
