Daniel Opare could miss Standard Liege game against Cercle Brugge
Standard Liege defender Daniel Opare is a major doubt for their Belgian Jupiler Pro-League match against Cercle Brugge on Saturday.
Opare, 23, recovered from an ankle sprain to play a part in their game against Lokeren last weekend but failed to participate fully at training this week due to pains in his knee.
The Ghanaian international missed Thursday’s training session to raise doubt about his involvement at the Jan Breydelstadion.
Liege are seven point clear at the top of the Belgian top-flight League.
