Midfielder Daniel Nii Adjei will fly to Congo on Sunday to complete his move to giants TP Mazembe.

The 23-year-old is currently in Kenya preparing with the Black Stars for Saturday’s crucial reverse leg of the 2013 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Malawi.

The impressive offensive midfielder will fly out to the Congolese capital after the game to complete formalities with the four-time African Champions.

“I will fly out to Congo after the Black Stars game. For now my concentration is on our game against  Malawi,” Adjei told Kumasi-based Fox FM

‘I am grateful to the supporters for their undying love for me. I believe that any player who serves Kotoko well, will duly be rewarded.

“ I’m thankful for the opportunity to serve this great club. When things were difficult they kept encouraging us and that contributed tremendously in our Premier League success last season.

“God will bless them (supporters) for what they have done for me. I will urge them to pray for me so that I will succeed.

“My heart is still with the team and I will never forget them in anyway.”

It is widely believed Mazembe forked out US$ 150,000 for the services of last season’s Ghana Premier League

 Most Valuable Player.

He is expected not to earn less than US$ 10,000 a month.
