Ghana international Daniel Amartey scored his first Danish Superliga goal helped FC Copenhagen to beat Brondby 3-1 on Sunday in the Copenhagen derby.

The defender-cum-midfielder opened the scoring on 43 minutes but Jose Ariel Nunez canceled it out after four minutes.

Nicolai Jørgensen and Thomas Delaney found the back of the net in the 52nd and 90th minutes respectively to give them the points at home.

Amartey had already scored two goals for the club in the Europa League.

FC Copenhagen are in second place on table; nine points behind leaders Midtylland.
