Jordan scored winner for Lorient in Cup win over Evian on Tuesday

Lorient striker Jordan Ayew says his side is determined to take at least a point off PSG in their Ligue 1 clash on Saturday.

The 23-year-old gave his side a timely boost ahead of the weekend’s clash by scoring the match-winner in Tuesday’s Cup win over Evian.

Jordan who has now scored two leagues goals in nine games is expected to lead the lines for Lorient in their biggest game of the season when the champions come visiting on Saturday.

And the Ghana international believes the team will take full advantage of the new found confidence to take at least a point of the French giants.

“It was a good first half. We felt much in the second half but we went for the victory,” he said.

“It's [win over Evian] good for morale, especially before facing PSG.

“We will do everything to get out of this game with at least one point."

Lorient are just a place above the relegation zone in Ligue 1 and will do themselves a lot of good if they manage to clinch a win over the French giants on Saturday.
