Crystal Palace sign Kwesi Appiah

Posted On Tuesday, 31st January 2012

Sky Sports understands Crystal Palace have agreed a deal to sign Margate striker Kwesi Appiah.

Palace are believed to have agreed an undisclosed fee for the highly-rated Appiah as they look to bring him to Selhurst Park.

A number of clubs have been chasing the prolific forward and the 21-year-old recently turned down a move to Blackpool after they agreed a fee with Margate.

Palace have now moved in for Appiah and the former Peterborough man looks poised to move to Selhurst Park.

Appiah is understood to have penned a two-and-a-half-year deal at Palace and is expected to finalise the move before the transfer deadline closes at 11pm.
