Injured Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Philemon McCarthy claims he will be available for selection next week.
McCarthy twisted his ankle two weeks ago in their 3-1 loss at Liberty Professionals in the First Capital Plus Premier League.
Scans revealed there was no fracture and that has come as a huge relief to the former national team goalkeeper.
ââ¬ÅI am recovering and the initial fears have been silenced,â⬠McCarthy told GHANASoccernet.com
ââ¬ÅI should be ready to go by next week and am so glad I didnââ¬â¢t break anything in my leg.
ââ¬ÅOnce the swelling is down am good to go.ââ¬
Mccarthy is expected to sit out the game against Berekum Chelsea on Wednesday but could be in line to start against Bechem United at home.
