David Addy has missed to games on the bounce for Vitoria Guimaraes

Ghana defender David Addy sat out Vitoria Guimaraes’ 3-0 thrashing of Academica on Saturday as he continues to struggle with injury.

The 21-year-old has not played for his club since his last appearance in the 2-1 defeat to Olympique Lyon in the Europa League on December 12.

Addy has now missed two consecutive games for the Conquerors.

Details of the former FC Porto man’s injury remain sketchy haven recovered from an ankle injury on his return from the international break with the Black Stars.

The Ghana international is likely to return fit in the New Year as the Portuguese top flight proceeds on a two-week break.
