Crocked Charles Taylor still a Berekum Chelsea player
Charles Taylor says he has one-year left on his Berekum Chelsea contract.

Former Ghana Premier League icon Charles Taylor says he is still contracted to Berekum Chelsea despite an injury-induced absence for one-and-a-half years.

Taylor's career player has been plagued with injuries since returning to the Ghanaian top-flight two years ago from Enugu Rangers.

He sat out the whole of last season after picking up a leg injury in the early stages of the 2011/2012 season.

The former Club Africain shockingly revealed some persons used black magic to destroy his career when the recurring injuries.

"I have one year left on my contract. The club called me to start training with them for the season but I think I'm not ready yet," Taylor told Accra-based Asempa FM.

"When I get the required match fitness I will make myself available."

Taylor's career has been on a nose-dive after a controversial move from Hearts of Oak to rivals Asante Kotoko in 2003 for a then domestic transfer record fee of 40,000 Ghana cedis.
