The offer from the GFA was confirmed by Le Roy's agent Gael Mahe, who told AFP that the new deal is until June 30, 2010.

contract extension was expected as the GFA spokesman Randy Abbey had
given his unflinching support to the Frenchman in the wake of
Le Roy has received several offers to coach national teams including

sources within the GFA say the Frenchman wants to appoint his own
assistant, who is likely to be a foreigner in the absence of Sellas
Tetteh, who has been appointed coach of the Black Satellites.

members are reluctant to allow Le Roy to pick a foreign assistant
because they think a local coach can comfortably fill that position.
