ImageGhanaian youngster Daniel Opare claims he was denied a transfer request by his club Real Madrid for a loan spell during the January transfer window.

The promising right-back is yearning for more playing time after returning from the 2009 Fifa Under-20 World Cup where Ghana lifted the trophy.

Opare,19, has been training with the Real youth side Castella and the first team set-up, under the eyes of coach Manuel Pelligrini.

"They said am a good product, they can't allow me to go to another team and later if they want me back, I will be telling them that am safe with the new club," Opare told Ghanasoccernet.com

"They said my future is at Real Madrid and that I shouldn't worry they will soon put me into action(field me). "I don't feel frustrated at all and am not in a rush eventhough I want to play regularly."

The former AshantiGold talent has slim hopes of breaking into the Madrid set-up with Sergio Ramos and Alvaro Arbeloa ahead in the pecking order.

He joined the Spanish giants after impressing at the 2007 Fifa Under-17 Championship where Ghana placed fourth.
