European trio chase Osei PDF Print E-mail

Ghana youth striker Ransford Osei is reported to be monitored by European sides Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Fulham after limited opportunites at FC Twente.

 

The 19-year-old joined the club on loan last summer but he is yet to be handed his debut by manager Steve McClaren.

 

Osei played a key role in Ghana's success at the Fifa Under-20 World Cup, scoring three goals.

 

He is contracted with Israeli side Maccabi Haifa till 2012 and has a minimum fee release clause of €3 million.

 

"My future depends on Maccabi Haifa, but I'm ready for any challenge. My dream is to play in a major European league but I don't have a preference at the moment," Osei is quoted by Goal.com.

 

Osei was silver shoe winner at the 2007 Fifa Under-17 Championship and won the topscorer award at the 2009 African Youth Championship.
