Olympics coach talks up revival PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, 19 November 2009

ImageDauda Lutterodt is convinced the resurgence of Great Olympics in the top flight has begun in earnest after claiming the scalp of Liberty Professionals in the Accra derby on Wednesday.

Olympics moved from the relegaton zone after they nicked in a narrow 1-0 win over the Dansoman based side.

Liberty were the hot-favourite before their meeting following their resounding victory over Asante Kotoko but Olymics stole the show with a determined performance to pip their city rivals.

Emmanuel Lartey's 65th minute strike was enough to hand Olympics a life line in the early stages of the league. Coach Lutterodt now claims his side have clicked into gear.

"This win is very important to us and it marks the beginning of our revival in the league," Lutterodt said in a post match interview.

"We played well and my boys are now coming aroud and hopefully our suferring days are over. We are not going to be pushovers any more.

"I am convinced that we will do well for our fans to be happy with us once again. The spirit is back and the performance against Liberty gives me hope that we will be a side to watch."
