Black Stars deputy captain John Mensah made a ligue one return over the weekend in Lyon?s goalless drawn game with Valenciennes.

Elsewhere in the Ligue II, Strasbourg were demolished 2-0 at home by Michael Helebge's Guingamp.

However the former Liberty Professionals playmaker was not part of the victorious Guingamp squad.

He was an unused sub in that particular encounter.
