SATELLITES HAVE SET THE PACE
Ghana Under-20 team, the Black Satellites, made a flying start at the maiden West Africa Football Youth tournament in Nigeria with a 2-0 win against Senegal on Saturday.

The Satellites dominated play and that paid off when defender Evans Quao put them ahead.

Norway-based striker Dominic Adiyah added the second in the first half when he finished off a perfect strike.

The Satellites will play Gambia in the second group match on Monday 01 December before engaging Guinea in Group B.

The Wafu tournament is serving as a dress rehearsal for the team ahead of next year's Africa Youth Championship in Rwanda.

Ghana will play Mali, Cameroon and hosts Rwanda in Group A of the tournament which begins in January.
