MILO HAS BEEN PUSHED TO THE WALL
Ghana earned a come-from-behind 3-2 win over  rivals Nigeria in the last round first leg African Championship qualifier qualifier at the Ohene Djan Stadium on Sunday.

The local Super Eagles opened the scoring through midfielder Henry Uche who slot in from close range after the Stars defence failed to clear a cross.

In the 43rd minute captain Musa Kabiru increased the tally with a pile-driver from 20 yards.

Winger Francis Coffie pulled one back before the interval for the Black Stars when he connected with a perfect half volley.

The Asante Kotoko player got the equalizer in the 61st minute when he fired to the near post.

Defender Sameul Inkoom sealed the win when he raced with the ball from the right flank and carved into the box and unleashed a shot that beat goalie Bassey Akpan.

The Super Falcons are much-fancied to qualify for the maiden of the CHAN championship in Ivory Coast next year by virtue of the two away goals.

The second will be played in a fortnight.
